These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of futsalusa.org (the “Site”), operated by the American Futsal Foundation (“AFF,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). Please read them carefully.

Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms and ourPrivacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. If you use the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Site purpose

The Site provides general information about AFF, futsal, our mission, programs, educational work, and ways to connect with or support the organization. Site content is provided for general informational and educational purposes and is not professional medical, legal, tax, or financial advice.

These Terms govern the website only. Participation in an AFF program, event, or activity may require separate registration terms, payment terms, codes of conduct, medical information, emergency contacts, parental permissions, media releases, or liability waivers. Those documents are not replaced by these Terms.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Site for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or harmful purposes;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, accounts, systems, or data;
  • introduce malware, harmful code, or disruptive technology;
  • interfere with Site operation, security, or another person’s use;
  • misrepresent your identity or affiliation with AFF;
  • use automated tools to scrape, copy, or overload the Site except as permitted by law or with our written authorization; or
  • use Site content in a way that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its text, design, graphics, photographs, videos, logos, trademarks, educational materials, and other content are owned by AFF or used with permission and are protected by applicable laws. You may view, download, or print reasonable portions for personal, noncommercial use, provided you do not remove notices or imply AFF endorsement.

No other license is granted. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publicly display, sell, license, or create derivative works from Site content without prior written permission, except where the law expressly permits it.

Messages and submissions

When you submit a message or other material through the Site, you represent that it is accurate, lawful, and that you have the right to provide it. Do not send confidential, sensitive, or time-critical information through a general contact form. Submitting a message does not create a confidential, fiduciary, professional, or contractual relationship with AFF.

Donations

If the Site offers donations, transactions may be processed by a third-party provider whose terms and privacy policy also apply. You agree to provide accurate payment and contact information and authorize the stated charge. Unless otherwise stated or required by law, donations are final and nonrefundable. If you believe a donation was made in error, contact us promptly and we will review the request.

AFF is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The deductibility of a contribution depends on applicable law and your circumstances, including whether you receive goods or services in return. Consult your tax adviser for guidance.

Third-party services and links

The Site may link to, embed, or rely on third-party websites, videos, forms, donation tools, maps, social platforms, or other services. We do not control and are not responsible for their availability, content, security, or practices. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that provider’s terms and policies.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. AFF does not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that all content will always be complete, accurate, or current.

Sports and physical activity involve inherent risks. General content on the Site is not individualized instruction or a substitute for appropriate supervision, qualified coaching, medical advice, facility inspection, safety planning, or compliance with applicable rules.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AFF and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, agents, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, revenue, or opportunity, arising from or related to your use of—or inability to use—the Site or third-party services linked from it.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AFF and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute that is not subject to another binding agreement will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Orange County, Florida, and you consent to that court’s jurisdiction and venue.

If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be limited or removed only to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the agreement concerning use of the Site.

Changes and availability

We may modify these Terms or change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site. Updated Terms take effect when posted unless a later date is stated. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the revised Terms.
