Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information:

• Information you provide. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, organization or school affiliation, and the contents of messages or forms you submit.
• Donation-related information. When you make a donation through the Site, Givebutter may collect information such as your name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, donation amount, donation frequency, dedication details, transaction status, and other information you choose to provide. AFF may receive donor and transaction records from Givebutter. Payment credentials, such as complete card or bank-account details, are collected and processed by Givebutter and its payment processors; AFF does not directly store those complete payment credentials.
• Technical information. Our hosting provider and other service providers may automatically receive information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
• Cookies and similar technologies. We may use cookies, pixels, local storage, or similar technologies to operate the Site, remember preferences, understand usage, and improve performance.

How we use information

We may use information to:

• respond to questions, requests, and messages;
• provide information about AFF’s mission, programs, and opportunities;
• process, acknowledge, administer, and maintain records of donations;
• operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the Site;
• measure Site traffic and understand how visitors use the Site;
• maintain records and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and reporting obligations; and
• protect AFF, our visitors, participants, and others from fraud, misuse, or harm.

Cookies and analytics

The Site may use essential cookies needed for security and basic operation. We may later use analytics or embedded-media tools that place cookies or collect technical information. If we introduce tools that require consent or additional notice, we will provide appropriate choices and update this policy. You can also use your browser settings to block or delete cookies, although some Site features may not work as intended.

Our embedded Givebutter donation form may use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies and may collect device, browser, usage, and transaction-related information as described in Givebutter’s own privacy policy. Blocking those technologies may prevent the donation form from working properly.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:

• with vendors that provide services such as website hosting, form delivery, analytics, email, data storage, security, and donation processing;
• when required by law, legal process, or a valid government request;
• when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, property, Site integrity, or prevent fraud or abuse; and
• in connection with a reorganization or transfer of AFF operations, subject to appropriate protections.

Service providers may use information only as permitted by their agreements with us and their own applicable legal obligations.

Donations

AFF uses Givebutter, a third-party fundraising and donation service, to provide the online donation form embedded on the Site. When you interact with that form or complete a donation, Givebutter and its payment processors may collect donor, transaction, device, browser, and payment-related information to process the gift, prevent fraud, provide receipts, support recurring donations, and operate their services.

Givebutter processes this information under its ownPrivacy Policyand applicable terms. AFF may receive information needed to acknowledge and administer your gift, maintain tax and accounting records, communicate with you about the donation, and understand donor support. AFF does not directly store your complete payment card or bank-account details.

Children’s privacy

AFF’s mission serves young people, but this Site is intended to provide information to parents, guardians, educators, coaches, supporters, and other adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13 without the consent of a parent or legal guardian. Children under 13 should not submit a contact form, donation, or other personal information through the Site.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the Site, contact us atsupport@futsalusa.org so we can review and, when appropriate, delete it. Any future online program registration involving minors may be governed by additional notices and parental-consent procedures.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information you have submitted to us, or ask us to stop sending non-transactional communications. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity. Some information may be retained when necessary for legal, security, tax, recordkeeping, or other legitimate purposes.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No internet transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including legal, tax, accounting, security, and dispute-resolution needs.

Third-party services and links

The Site may link to or embed content from other websites and services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one. A link does not necessarily mean AFF endorses every statement, product, or practice of the third party.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Site, our services, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top will show when the current version took effect. Material changes may also be highlighted on the Site when appropriate.
