The potential is already there. A well-used gift helps give it somewhere to grow.

Proof of possibility

One existing facility. Thousands of hours of play.

In 2020, AFF helped transform an existing public school gym into a futsal-capable space. Since that conversion, the court has supported more than 36,000 documented player-hours of futsal activity. That experience shapes how we evaluate needs, prepare programs, and put resources to work.

The larger vision

Your gift helps unlock the courts America already has.

The American lesson is simple: when a court game becomes easy to start, easy to repeat, and easy to find, it can become part of childhood. A donation does more than fund equipment. It helps turn familiar spaces into recurring places to play.

Where a gift becomes useful

Fund the missing layer.

Communities often have the building, the children, and a trusted local institution. A gift helps AFF supply the practical layer that allows play to begin—and continue.

AFF has rented local gym space to provide free futsal training and play opportunities for local girls. That direct access work reflects the heart of the mission: giving children a real chance to play when cost or access might otherwise stand in the way.

AFF is also exploring future outdoor court upgrades, including modular multi-sport surfaces that could help existing concrete basketball courts support futsal and other sports when gym access is limited. These projects are opportunities under exploration—not funded or confirmed work.

Equip a space

Put the right goals, balls, markings, and storage into a school gym that is ready for its first session.

Prepare the people

Give teachers, coaches, referees, and local leaders the tools and confidence to run a safe, age-appropriate program.

Keep play returning

Help a court stay open past its first season—covering the upkeep, participation support, and coordination that keep children coming back.

One gift can help open a court. Reliable support can help keep it open.

Monthly giving

Help children come back next week.

Opening day creates possibility. Continuity creates a place children can trust. Monthly support keeps the ball rolling—covering the equipment, access, and coordination that let children come back next week, and the week after that.

Effective use begins with readiness

We look for the place where support can take hold.

A box of equipment sitting in a closet does not change a child’s week. Before committing resources, we make sure a gift can actually become play—a ready space, a responsible local leader, and a plan for what happens after opening day.

Unless a donor designates a specific purpose, we keep gifts flexible—so support can go where it can create the most useful next opportunity.

More ways to help

Some support begins with a conversation.

AFF welcomes school and program support, corporate partnerships, donor-advised fund grants, employer matching, major gifts, and useful in-kind contributions.
