Support the mission

Help open the game.Help keep it open.

Your support can help turn existing school and community spaces into recurring places for children to play futsal—with the equipment, leadership, and continuity a lasting program requires.

PlayFree.

Freedom to create.
Freedom to participate.

Why support matters

The building may already exist. The opportunity may not.

Many schools and communities already have gyms, hard courts, students, families, and trusted local institutions. What may be missing is the relatively small layer of equipment, preparation, organization, and recurring support that turns those assets into a place children can use.

AFF works in that gap. A contribution does not have to fund a new sports complex to create meaningful capacity. It can help make better use of infrastructure the public has already built.

A modest intervention can create years of additional play.

36,000+documented player-hours

A documented beginning

One changed use of an existing facility created thousands of hours of play.

AFF’s documented historical count has already exceeded 36,000 player-hours. The work now is to learn from that beginning, strengthen the model, and help additional ready locations create durable participation of their own.

What support can make possible

Fund the conditions that allow play to last.

AFF’s work is not organized around isolated purchases. Equipment, people, recurring access, and local connection work together to create useful outcomes.

Open a place to play

Turn an available space into a working futsal court.

Support can help a ready school or community move from an empty gym or hard court to a safe, practical place for the game.

  • Court review and markings
  • Age-appropriate goals and futsal balls
  • Bibs, cones, storage, and basic setup needs
  • Portable or folding equipment where shared spaces require it

Prepare a local leader

Give responsible adults the tools to begin well.

A court becomes useful when a teacher, coach, referee, or community leader can create a clear, safe, age-appropriate experience.

  • Teacher-facing curriculum and lesson guidance
  • Coach and program-leader preparation
  • Youth referee education
  • Age-specific Laws of the Game and progressions

Keep children playing

Help an introduction become a place to return.

Recurring access—not a single event—is what allows children to build confidence, relationships, and a lasting connection to the game.

  • Weekly or seasonal program support
  • Equipment care and replacement
  • Participation assistance where cost is a barrier
  • Communication, administration, and simple attendance tracking

Connect local programs

Create opportunities no isolated court can produce alone.

As nearby locations become ready, shared activity can give children more opponents, more reasons to return, and a stronger local futsal culture.

  • School-to-school shared play
  • Community festivals and introductory events
  • Leagues and tournaments when programs are ready
  • Coordination among schools, families, and local partners

From opening day to a local system

A gift can help at more than one moment.

Some needs make a program possible on day one. Others determine whether children still have a place to play months and years later.

Day one

Make the first session possible

  • Court setup
  • Goals and balls
  • Leader preparation
  • Launch support

Week after week

Protect continuity

  • Reliable access
  • Program leadership
  • Equipment upkeep
  • Participation assistance

Location to location

Build connection

  • Shared play
  • Festivals
  • Leagues
  • Tournaments when useful

A court creates capacity. Continuity comes from recurring leadership, reliable access, equipment upkeep, simple measurement, and a funding mix that can last.

The promise behind the support

Play Free.

Freedom to create

Futsal gives children room to think, improvise, make mistakes, and discover their own solutions inside the game.

Freedom to participate

AFF works to bring family participation costs as close to zero as possible so money does not decide who receives a place to play.

Support helps protect both freedoms.

Ways to participate

Choose the role that fits you.

You do not need to arrive with a finished proposal. Tell AFF what you hope to support, the local opportunity you see, or the resource you may be able to provide.

Make an individual gift

Help AFF direct resources toward the most useful next step—equipment, leader preparation, recurring play, or the development of a ready local program.

Talk With AFF About Giving

Help equip a school

A family, PTA, booster group, foundation, or group of donors can help remove the first practical barrier for a school prepared to begin.

Start a School Conversation

Become a community partner

Businesses and community organizations can support equipment, events, recurring programs, or broader local access through funding, services, or useful connections.

Explore a Partnership

Offer useful in-kind support

Facility access, printing, transportation, professional services, event support, storage, and other practical contributions may solve needs that funding alone cannot.

Tell Us What You Can Offer

Stewardship and readiness

Put resources where they can become useful.

Equipment alone does not create a program, and funding alone does not guarantee continuity. AFF considers the available space, local leadership, program plan, storage, recurring access, community support, and ability to learn from the work before committing resources to a location.

Flexible support allows AFF to respond to the most useful verified need across program development, equipment, leader preparation, participation, measurement, and operations. Donors interested in a particular purpose can begin that conversation directly with AFF.

Help build the next opportunity

A child may already be there. The gym may already be there. You can help bring the game to them.

Start with a conversation about a gift, a school, a partnership, or a practical resource you can provide.
